Essential Functions
- Transport material between loading, processing, manufacturing, and storage areas by using a variety of material handling equipment.
- Inspect materials to identify problems or defects.
- Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move products and materials.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments indoors and outdoors.
- Operates other machinery in the area.
- Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals on time.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
- May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
- Previous verifiable forklift experience.
- Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently requiring little or no supervision.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to continual noise daily from machines.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
Equipment/Machinery Used
- Forklift.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time.
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
