Essential Functions
- Responsible for accounting functions including verifying and posting accounts payable transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
- Process daily credit card receipts and monitor the credit card program travel expenses.
- Reconcile and post journal entries for credit card transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Closely monitor vendor accounts and take corrective action to keep accounts in good standing.
- Set up new accounts, process credit applications.
- Maintain w9 software and request certificates of insurance when necessary.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
- May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
- 1-2 years previous Accounts payable experience required with an understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
- SAP Business 1 knowledge preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel required.
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.
Equipment/Machinery Used
- PC Computer and other office equipment.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Able to sit or stand for 5-8 hours at a time.
- Able to lift 25 lbs.
- Primarily working in an office environment.
