Essential Functions
- Respond to Andon calls by team members.
- Confirm quality-routine checks.
- Cover team member absenteeism.
- Team member training and cross-training.
- Ensure standardized work is followed.
- Facilitate small group activities (daily tier board & Safety meetings.)
- On-going continuous improvement activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of welding techniques.
- Ensure parts/materials are supplied to process/line.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of KEITH products and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain 6S in work area.
- Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals in a timely manner.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Able to communicate in English with team members (Speak and reading, writing ability required.)
- May be required to pass employer performance tests including pre-employment drug screening.
- One year of KEITH experience and Lean experience preferred.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Access and Outlook.
- Lead by example with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Demonstrate confidence and respect for others.
- Demonstrate knowledge and willingness to learn/educate about lean principles.
- Able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square.
- Comfortable with constant change and able to methodically work through complex problems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
Working Conditions
- Works in Production.
- Exposure to continual noise daily from machines.
- Exposure to intense light and hot materials.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit or stand for 10 hours at a time.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
