As an Industrial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base while nurturing existing connections within our network of WALKING FLOOR® unloader customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Sales Calls: Execute effective sales calls and maintain comprehensive sales activity records.
- Travel: Demonstrate the ability and willingness to travel by air and automobile.
- Customer Assistance: Support customers with equipment specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Trade Shows and Training: Attend and actively participate in trade shows and training events.
- Troubleshooting and Customer Service: Provide troubleshooting assistance and high-quality customer service support.
- Customer and Team Communication: Manage communication between customers and internal teams to ensure a seamless experience.
Requirements:
- Sales and/or Engineering Experience: A minimum combination of 5 years of sales and/or engineering experience, with a preference for those experienced in material handling, large equipment, or related industries.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet insurability requirements.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong technical background with the ability to connect with engineers and technical decision-makers.
- Solution Sales: Adherence to a solution sales approach, as opposed to a product sales approach.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Travel: Ability to travel as necessary.
- Tech Proficiency: Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft products.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in Australia without the need for sponsorship, both now and in the future.
