As a KEITH Manufacturing Co. Assembler II, you will perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small and medium sized precision units or sub-assemblies involving less precise requirements and parts.  The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and keen attention to detail.

Shift        5:00 am – 3:30 pm    Monday – Thursday            Overtime Required

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrate capability in assembling finished and semi-finished parts
  • Able to read and follow specified layouts, procedures, and operating charts
  • Able to perform complex and precision assemblies from blue prints, and also self-guided precision assemblies with no prints
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Self-directed, requiring little or no supervision
  • Responsible for checking completed parts to meet KEITH Quality Control standards
  • Maintain a “customer first” mindset for productivity and quality
  • Maintain 6S in the work area
  • Meets agreed upon manufacturing goals on time
  • Arrive at work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled

Peripheral Duties

  • May operate other machinery in the area when necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous hydraulic and plumbing experience preferred
  • Perform work with a high attention to detail and aesthetically pleasing appearance
  • Mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail required
  • May be required to pass employer performance tests
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, precision measurement tools
  • Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently

Working Conditions

  • Works in Production Shop
  • Exposed detail to continual noise from machines

Equipment/Machinery Used

  • Various machinery
  • Forklift
  • Grinders

Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours at a time
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
