This customer was interested in using WALKING FLOOR technology to automate the unloading process, which took approximately 45-60 minutes to manually offload recycled textiles. A horizontal unloading system was necessary for safety reasons, because the vehicles were unloaded inside buildings. Trucks were outfitted with the lightweight and compact KMD 300 system. The textiles can now be unloaded in four to five minutes, dramatically increasing the efficiency of the business. As an added advantage, the drivers are happier doing less manual labor.
